Suggestions: Unlike other country paths created to visit the farms of Salento, farmhouses and trulli, it is a path specifically created for the Masseria guests coming to Puglia to admire the sea of Salento from the rocky side of the Adriatic Sea. Path: Leaving “Masseria Uccio”, you reach the Sanctuary of Madonna di Fatima. From here go to “Masseria of Tiggiano”, cross the small historical centre and follow the signs to Corsano and crossing the historical centre follow the signs to Marina di Guardiola. A long and pleasant descent leads to the seaside, only few kilometres away. After reaching the panoramic site “La Guardiola” adjacent to “Rio di Novaglie”, continue along the seafront to Santa Maria di Leuca, and running along the massive Adriatic cliff for some kilometres you will reach “Il Ciolo” (small village of Gagliano del Capo). From here you will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view. Running along the Salento seafront in the opposite direction you will reach “Funnuvoiere”, (small village of Corsano). Here you can choose whether taking the descent to the seaside or continuing to Torre Palane taking some easy climbs. Follow the signs to Tiggiano. After reaching the historical centre go towards the railway station and then take the country path leading to Masseria Uccio B&B. Alternative Path: After reaching Torre Palane you can take the pathway marked as foot and cycle path running along the Adriatic seafront to reach an extremely panoramic view. From here go on to Tiggiano historical centre, a small village of Salento, and then go back to “Farm Uccio”.
